It is hard to express the feelings I have for my children. I cannot express in words how beautiful, amazing, adorable and lovely they are - the inspiration for most of my designs. Their input I couldn't live without. I love to see the joy in their eyes when I make something for them that makes them happy. I also value their criticism. They are honest. They tell me the truth.
Purim is one of my favorite holidays. A time of joy and happiness for Jewish children. A time when they can live for a day in a land of fairies, super heroes, and dreams dressing up to something magical. Every year, I spend days before Purim making my children's wishes come true. Their demands are high. "Mommy you can do it... pleeaassse..." and I try... I love giving myself to the land of fairies with beautiful shiny fabric and tulle in abundance, or trying to figure out how Star Wars' characters actually look like, or maybe a mermaid or Tinker Bell. There are no limits. The sky is open. When Purim arrives, we wake up early. I do their hair and make- up, and send them to school like it's my own private catwalk. Here are some pictures I took a few weeks ago... This year we used minimum make- up and left it as natural as possible.
